He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 25 years with duty stations in Florida, California, Alaska, Guam, the Philippines, and Japan and he has tuned-in to the dialects of each of these regions to expand his vocal range.

Tim is also a very active martial artist that has been studying, practicing, and teaching a blend of martial arts since the age of 10, and is what most, keeps him centered and grounded when he’s not on the mic in his home studio just outside of Seattle.

From a very young age, Tim has always played with his voice. With a keen and intuitive ear and empathic listening skills, he has impersonated, mimicked, mirrored, and created hundreds of different informal voices and is often the most distinguishable salient voice in the room. His naturally vibrant, soothing and comforting tone can range from authentically conversational to authoritative to zany and comedic.
