We are Rise Up Therapeutic Massage, located in Wallingford, across from Gasworks Park.

We are a thriving treatment, relaxation, and pregnancy massage clinic of 13 years and are looking to grow and connect! We are a trauma-informed, all-inclusive practice and welcome all! We specialize in working with weekend adventure athletes, injury recovery, stress reduction, and supporting people to get back in the best shape of their lives! We would love to connect with your community.

I am Katy Cañete, LMT. My bodywork is a blend of deep tissue, myofascial and trigger point work and deep relaxation. I am trained in Somatic Experience, working with the nervous system to promote trauma recovery. I am a mother and a widow and the work we do is deep and effective in helping clients move through healing and grief, in restoring wholeness and a sense of well-being to every body. I am also a trained Doula and love working with pre- and post-partum clients.

Andrew Bailey, LMT, is my rock-star partner and is adored by his clients! Andrew has over 10 years of treatment experience as an LMT supporting sports injuries and physical therapy clinics. He does a dynamic blend of treatment modalities including stretching, myofascial, deep tissue and Swedish techniques. Andrew has lived in the PNW since 1997, loves all sports, is vegan, and is a rare Seattle massage therapist who identifies as BIPOC. Andrew has a huge heart and is a LOT of fun to work with.

Here at Rise Up, we are passionate about supporting individuals in living their highest quality of life. We want folks to be taken care of and to feel good! We know that Seattle is not the easiest place to find practitioners of color with booking availability, and we know that comfort is an absolute necessity for personal care and massage wellness.
