My name is Kennajha Green-Bloodsaw (Ken-Asia). I am a 24 year-old Seattle native, Christian and childcare professional with a passion to serve others. I am an active member in my church along with the community. I am nurturing, patient, driven and I put my heart in all that I do. I love to encourage people through God’s word. I love creative writing, music, arts and crafts and love being around friends and family. I am the eldest of seven which developed motherly roles in me at an early age. I am a doula working towards PALS certification. I have completed my birth doula training through the Penny Simkin center at Bastyr University. I am an advocate for social justice and social change! I am a prospective birth educator and social worker, continuing my education at the University of Washington Fall 2019. Maternal mortality among black women started the spark of my doula journey. It may not end with me but I will be apart of the fight! Let’s meet and greet and doula this thing out!
